3CA summer camp counsellor role

3CA is hiring summer students this year again. Hurry up and submit your application before the deadline. The details of the roles including the requirements for all the roles as well as the deadline for application submission are outlined below.

Camp Counsellor (Number of positions/Roles Open: 1)

• Plan, lead, and implements sports themed programming for children.
• Provide high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for thesoccer program participants.
• Supervise campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and generalwell-being.
• Organize and lead various small and large group activities
• Ensure the cleanliness of the site.
• Assist in maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports, logbookdocumentation, and daily attendance.
• Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
• Mediate any minor campers’ disputes.
• Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp program, includingknowing the whereabouts of your charges at all times.
• Maintain constant surveillance of all camp areas.
  

  Eligibility Criteria (You MUST meet all the requirements to be considered for any role):

  1. Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  2. Must be a current high school student or a recent high school graduate.
  3. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has beenconferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
  4. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territoriallegislation and regulations.
  5. Must have experience as a competitive soccer player/volunteer/youth coach
