3CA Jobs Computer Laboratory Assistant
3CA is hiring summer students this year again. Hurry up and submit your application
before the deadline. The details of the roles including the requirements for all the roles
as well as the deadline for application submission are outlined below.
Computer Laboratory Assistant (Number of positions/Roles Open: 2)
- Work with the 3CA Technology Co-ordinator in setting up and maintaining the
computer laboratory for the technology trainings offered.
- Ensure that all computer equipment is treated with proper care and is not
removed without proper authorization.
- Provide assistance and support both on site and remote for printers, computers
and other equipment in the computer laboratory.
- Log and track equipment damage and malfunctions and report to management.
- Record required statistical information such as the number of users using the myriad
computer technologies and the frequency of such use for reporting purposes.
- Clean, review and handle minor equipment maintenance to assure its operational condition.
Eligibility Criteria (You MUST meet all the requirements to be considered for any
role):
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
- Must be a current university/college/high school student or a recent university/college/high school
graduate.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been
conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and,
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
